The Hotel's Restaurant is well known for its Mediterranean cuisine with the special emphasis on the treasures of the Slovene Istria and on the food from the depths of the Adriatic Sea. You are kindly invited to visit us and enjoy the harmony of tastes of fresh vegetables, juicy fruit and fresh fish embraced with fragrant herbs. The basis of the preparing of the food is the hotel- owned olive trees plantation that gives us the extra virgin olive oil. We gladly accommodate also the guests who look for something more. The advise of the chef and of the maitre d'hotel is always gladly available to make your gastronomic choice easier. The Restaurant is open daily from 12.00 to 23.00.

Area information

The town has always been connected to the sea. The ancient part is located on an island which was inhabited already in the first century A.D. and later connected to the coast by a stone bridge. It was surrounded by town walls which were demolished in the beginning of the 19th century and the ruins were used to fill up the sea between the island and the coast. In early 13th century Izola declared independence and became a town with its own laws and authorities. The traditional fishing, shipbuilding and the new built marina gather together people in Izola who fell in love with the sea and the sail. The Mediterranean atmosphere is everywhere in the air- in the lively streets, during a walk by the sea, in a small talk with local people, on the beach. Another thing a guest cannot miss are the fresh Adriatic sea food specialties with local wine and olive oil from the surrounding vineyards and olive plantations.

By car from Koper (6 km): - At the 1st traffic lights turn to the right and go directly along the coast to the historical old town. From the airport: Trieste is accessible by bus route (in Summer). There are some free parking spaces, subject to availability; the others are are payable. We are a motorbike friendly hotel.

Besides the restaurant offering a wide selection of dishes there are a lot of possibilities for entertainment (dance music on the terrace, the summer discotheque, night bar with the program open throughout the year) as well as for the recreation (tennis, table tennis, badminton, mini golf). Besides the swimming pools suitable for all needs and ages, the hotel also has a sea beach (600m) easily accessible by a picturesque walking path. For the hotel guests a shuttle bus transport is organized free of charge. The hotel complex features also a shop, souvenir shop, tabacco shop and its own parking lots. After 50 metres, after a small bridge, turn left into the car park (first building on left side). From Portorož: At the top of the Belvedere climb, turn left and descend to Izola. At the first traffic lights (Spar grocery shop) turn right and then immediately right again to Cesta v Jagodje street.
