The comfortable and pleasantly furnished double and single rooms are spread over 3 floors. They are decorated either elegantly with fine wooden furniture or in a cosy country house style with light woods. There are fantastic views of the surrounding lawns, valleys and woods from most of the rooms in the building, some with a view towards the Ore Mountains and some towards Saxonian "Switzerland".

Food & beverage

In our bright conservatory we invite you to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet in elegant surroundings. Over the lunch period and in the evenings we serve both regional and international dishes here. After a day trip in the beautiful surroundings, why not enjoy the cosy atmosphere of our restaurant "König Albert". Let us treat you to a candle-lit dinner accompanied by Saxonian wines and culinary delights, in part supported by produce from our own garden. Specialities in our restaurant include game and fish from the local areas and we have a large wine cellar stocked with international and Saxonian wines. When the weather is fine, we invite you to dine and relax on our sun terrace decorated in a Mediterranean style.

This family-run hotel is situated in a green area on the edge of the art and culture city of Dresden. The height of the building is particularly impressive, as there is a panoramic view over to Saxonian "Switzerland" and the Ore Mountains. After extensive renovations, we can now offer our guests a large and comfortable hotel, an elegant conservatory with a beautiful South-facing view and a cosy restaurant with an open sandstone fireplace.

Quick description

Hotel Rabennest offers rooms with fridge, free internet and free parking. It is located in Rabenau, 15 minutes from the A17 motorway and 25 minutes from the centre of Dresden. All rooms at the privately run Rabennest include satellite TV and a minibar. A seating area and an iron are also provided. Traditional Saxon and international meals are served in Hotel Rabennest‘s restaurant. Guests can eat beside the fireplace in the winter. A beer garden is available in the summer. The Rabennest features its own bowling alley. It is also a good base for hiking and cycling through the countryside of Saxon Switzerland and the Ore Mountains.
